Users may submit short anonymous text entries understanding that these will be visible to other users – on a randomized basis.
All submissions pass through automated filters at the point of submission to help block offensive, harmful, or personally identifiable content. Although by submitting content to the site, you confirm that your post:
- Is entirely anonymous and does not contain names, contact details, or identifiable information.
 - Does not promote or encourage illegal activity, self-harm, or violence.
 - Is not threatening, defamatory, harassing, or hateful.

 - Is your own original text or is submitted with permission if based on someone else's work.

Submissions are stored anonymously on a database hosted by MongoDB Atlas, accessible only to the platform owner. As such, you understand that by posting:
- Your submission will be stored anonymously on a database accessible to the Platform Owner.
 - The platform owner may review your submission and remove content that breaches these terms or platform rules.
 - Your post is entitled to be reported by other users on the site.
 - Your post will be visible to other users.
 
5. Prohibited Use
In addition to the acceptable use rules, you agree not to:
- Attempt to interfere with or overload the paltform.
 - Reverse-engineer or tamper with how the site stores or presents data.
 - Circumvent submission filters or moderation processes.
 - Exploit bugs, loopholes, or easter eggs for disruption or abuse.
 - Upload or inject content designed to manipulate browser behavior or redirect other users.
 - Scrape or extract data for external use, research, or resale.
 
6. Moderation or Removal Policy
If a submission is flagged or reported, it may be reviewed and removed at the discretion of the platform owner. There is no obligation to notify users when content is taken down, and no appeal process is available. Submissions may be removed without explanation for violating platform guidelines or at the owner's discretion.
7. Reporting Content
Each visible post includes a “Report” button. If you encounter something that violates platform rules, causes harm, or appears unsafe, you are expected to report it
Reports are handled anonymously. No tracking occurs when you report a post. The platform owner uses internal reference codes to locate and review flagged content.
8. Advice or Support Services
This platform is for entertainment only. It is not a substitute for therapy, counselling, crisis intervention, or medical guidance. If you are in distress, please seek help from trained professionals or emergency services.
Any references or links to external support services (such as Samaritans or Mind) are provided for informational purposes only. The platform is not affiliated with these organizations and cannot be held responsible for their actions or outcomes.
9. Intellectual Property
Let’s Spill the Tea® and its associated branding, layout, and narrative features are protected by copyright or trademark law. No part of the site may be copied, sold, or reused without permission. The name, logo, and hidden content are proprietary. By submitting a post, users grant LSTT a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display the submission anonymously on the platform. If you believe the content on LSTT violates your intellectual property rights, please email the below contact details.
10. Limitation of Liability
This site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. There are no guarantees regarding the availability, reliability, or accuracy of content. All submissions are user-generated and may be fictional, exaggerated, or emotionally charged.
LSTT is not liable for any loss, injury, emotional distress, or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on any posted content. Use of the site is entirely at your own risk.
11. Changes to the Terms
These Terms of Use may be updated to reflect platform changes. Updates will be timestamped and publicly posted. By continuing to use the platform after updates are made, you agree to be bound by the most recent version of these Terms.
